I feel ok. Sat around. Weapons inspection. Did some mind mapping excercise which was quite interesting. Got to play with some Remmington shotguns. had a cup of tea. Got on my lap top. Fun, fun, fun.
Oh, found a copy of ROTE in the camp's library which was megga surprising. Anyway...

Mildly irritated. I was turned down for a job because of Seafest.

All I can say is TGIF. What a week! Ugh. Unfortunately band practice was canceled for tomorrow. I'm a little bummed but that's life.

I'm sorry to hear that. I think I had the same problem with all the places I applied to. I wasn't available right away, because I was still in school, and then we were going to my grandmother's house. So I didn't have many places contact me. Good luck finding a job!

Oh, drag.
Any chance it could still be available after SeaFest?
Was it in Bangor?

Barfed this morning after breakfast, which is always a joy. But left for work sometime after and am doing just fine now. I think until this bug gets out of my system, it might not be a good idea to do breakfast.

Cool. I hope so.
I wonder how much time off I could get from work?

About ten minutes' drive away, in Menai Bridge. The hiring woman said if she hasn't managed to fill the position by the time I get back, it's mine. It seems they're having a lot of trouble finding someone. Still, I'm not holding my breath.

Agreed with magickmaker.
But, if they're having trouble finding someone, and it's been open awhile, now that they know someone of your caliber will be available when you return, I bet all future candidates will be measured against you...

You have no idea what the job market in North Wales is like. Literally dozens and dozens of good applicants for every vacancy. Almost no-one able to actually get work. It's insane. It's like London in the 80s.
