I'm still doing whatever processing I can when I have time, but I'm afraid that at least until the Washington trip is over, processing is going to be very slow... I apologize and I would like to clarify I'm not going to put Pantheon on hiatus, so I do hope you'll stick by and have patience, but I'll understand if some of you get fed up with the delays and decide to leave... Again, sorry!
Xar, can I submit my orders? I know I am late, but I was touring Europe at the time . . .
Sure, I don't see why not... feel free to go ahead!

Actually, Xar, have you processed my results yet? The reason I ask is, I don't want you to go to all that effort doing a write-up if I have to say (one week after the results are done) that I'm quitting. If possible, can you leave mine until last?

But... Really? It's only a turn every 3-5 months, after all. Can't you swing bullet-point submissions?

If it remains at this rate, then I'm fine to continue playing. But, really, sending bullet-point summaries is not giving the game the credit and attention it deserves. If we went back to a turn every three weeks or so, I couldn't possibly continue playing.

I think there's very little chance of that. Xar, even if your life ever calms down to the point that you can go faster than these last couple turns, every few weeks isn't likely, is it?

I do have faith in The AllFather returning to an every few weeks processing turn around rate, once Xar's Ph.D. thesis defense is finished and he is settled wherever that may be. But, getting to that point may be a bit off yet...

...not that I'm speaking for you AllFather. I'm only vocalizing my own hopes and desires...

Everything OK, Fist? You posted really early...

I hope not.

Personally, I would rather go to orders being due one whole month after reports - particularly if there are large gaps between turns. It's difficult to remember what was going on and what was planned after such long time between drinks. And speaking only for myself, in a two week time frame, I can barely find 30 mins of free time at night to write a decent set of orders, let alone do anything which looks like anything other than a hastily cobbled-bullet point list.

I wouldn't mind extending the submission deadline to a month instead of two weeks, although it would delay the turns progressing. But I am still hopeful that processing won't take that long eventually.

I do think it may be February or later before the AllFather can even think of processing Turns within two weeks of submission though. But, maybe he'll surprise me...

Im in the same boat as Montressor to be honest. Also, I have no such wish for turns to speed up or any such, nor any desire to nag Xar as to when turns arrive. Hes clearly a busy man, so Im glad to work to his schedule.

...hoo-boy...

*raises right hand*

AllFather...

I do promise to do all that I can, hopefully with Raen's help, to at least insert one different topic of conversation other than Pantheon on Friday, the 21st, in NYC...
