It's been a week or so now, so I don't think that it's an allergy. I haven't gone swimming, and I haven't hugged any dead things (although that gave me a disturbingly cute mental image.)
The only thing I can think of is that I'm pregnant since your hormones go all funky when that happens, but that's Worst Case Scenario so I'm going to not think about that until I've exhausted all other options.

I also feel kinda gross because I keep getting these little white bumps on my upper chest. They're like mini zits. I call them zitlets. And I am very upset at them for deciding that my chest is where they need to live. I also feel frustrated because I've tried three different cleansers on them and they still keep coming.
Hey, Waddley. . . have you tried Body Clear body wash by Neutrogena? It's made for body acne, but I bet it would help, as it makes your skin regenerate faster. Hope it gets better soon. . .

I'm still fighting the food poisoning and the flu, as I'm tingling all over and having tiny seizures almost constantly. Bit worrying because it's making me light headed and I'm concerned how I'll get home (from work).

Your body is trying to expel an irritant, maybe. Have you been near any inks or nasty cleaning products? Try drinking lots of water.

Is there someone you can call to come get you? Or someone who can just ride the transit system with you, or something? Can you call a cab?

I wish there was something useful I could do. It's crappy to feel bad and to have no one to take care of you.

As I live in the country it's very far for someone to come and get me. all I can do is be careful.
Thanks for your concern.

I feel blessed -- I had a wonderful birthday! My friends brought over caviar and all manner of neat cheeses and things, and I got The Office, season 2 on dvd.

Put that together with recently getting a long-lost niece back
and going to San Francisco to meet Lucimay and all the FBH people, and you have pretty much the bestest birthday ever. I'm a lucky gal.

Now I can post here, as it is officially a new day to me.

I feel good. Today is my 33rd birthday. I'm giving myself half a day off of work (the afternoon), and I've scheduled two light appointments for the morning. And yeah. . . my first appointment is at 9:00, so I'm only working 3 hours tomorrow. I love the flexibility inherent in my job!
In defiance of normal ettiquette of birthdays, I am cooking up a storm for my friends for dinner tomorrow night. And there will be liquor-laced chocolate cake. Yummy.
I'd originally planned on getting a pedicure and having my hair "done" at the salon, but I'm trying to pay off the debt I accumulated around my trip to Europe this summer, and have now decided against it. No frivolous spending for me. . Besides, I'm hoping to go to England next spring, and I need to get saving for that. Blah. . . social service work pays next to NOTHING. *le sigh*
Anyhow, I will enjoy my birthday nonetheless.

Thank you all for the advice. I'll work on it and let you know how it goes.
Happy birthday you two, too!
LM, I really hope you feel better soon. I know what it's like to be sick with no one to take care of you

Just remember that your friends-inside-the-computer are here and we care bout ya.
As for me... yesterday was my brother's 21st b-day, and I don't think I got more than 4 hours of sleep last night... but I just need to remind myself: No matter how bad I feel today, he has it worse

I hope, at least.

LM... might I suggest crawling to your sofa, turning on the TV/DVD, swallowing (if you can) some Nytol (or some other powerful mind altering elixir) and swimming in and out of conciousness as you heal.
For my part, I am a wee bit tired, but rarin' to go today.

There was something wrong with your avatar this morning. The picture was gone and there was a message about remote linking being forbidden unless you upgrade your membership.
