I've already asked Tepes to edit his post. I would if it was a simple change, but I really don't know what he had in mind for it. If it was a big story, my change might not fit in.

Basically, that level of boat technology doesn't exist. As some of you learned when you wanted this or that. Again, the idea is for growth and stuff to be slow, so I can keep a handle on things. The map is NOT drawn to scale. Ayana and Mekoth are much farther apart than it looks. The distance between them is much greater the the width of Ayana's gulf. And boats and navigational techniques are not good enough to cross. Yeah, the smaller boats being used can go up and down the coasts. And, as happened with the Vikings, it is possible to cross the sea. But, unless you've told you people about the other continent, they don't even know about it. They certainly couldn't cross easily. Many more would be lost at sea than would make it.

Yeah, yeah, post edited. :D I guess the "Ocean Adventures of Vampire-Pirate-King Lucien Lachance" will have to wait just a little longer. Luckily the plans to make that happen are already under way.

You could just go the vampire-viking route, as cliched as it is. ;)

*snort*

I wasn't expecting that edit.
Does the Vampire King even know what a crows nest is at this level of technology? ;)

Hehe, I thought the edit was appropriate given the circumstances. ;)

Heh, well the name "crow's nest" was only mentioned by the narrator and not by Lucien. But if it was the first one in existence on Narie, then it couldn't possibly have been named yet. So basically Lucien could call it whatever the hell he wanted to.

And although "Viking Vampires" has a nice early 90's nintendo game ring to it, I'll hold off on that temptation for now. :D

Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird. It's a pla... Hey, there's another one. And another! What the hell are those things??

Oh! Also, all Love mysteriously vanishes from Narie. Damndest thing! And it had nothing, absolutely nothing to do with asking for CHs. Go figure.

Intriguing

Some more of Uruk's doing, perhaps?

Wow. There's a bit of trouble. Could be serious. I'm not sure yet how it plays out. It might even be Aesir's first dead Prophet! 8O

He does it on purpose, if you don't react, he'll get bored with the mind games and do what needs to be done...like get the results in already!!! :x

Oh no, no, no...
CHs are some of the most fun of this style of game. Processing will occur at whatever speed it happens, regardless of CHs or not...

...although that last one wasn't really a CH. :|

*suspects that even the remotest possibility of Love returning to Narie just flew out the window* ;)
