Day off today. Sitting in pyjamas, just deciding what to cook E. when she gets back from work. Probably something involving fillet steak marinated in Jamacan Jerk sauce; well, it's a possible maybe anyway.

[re The steak - damn shop only had a single piece left [so much for all that crap about Supermarkets being great I was spouting!] so I seved it charred on the outside, raw on the inside as a cold carpaccio starter [balsamic and parmesan dressing] then followed with a seabass in chili and ginger butter and asparagus. Not bad though I say so myself

Day off today. Supposed to be prepping for World Fantasy Convention, but the prep's pretty much done, so.... The kids have both finally cleared out for the day, so I can get some stuff done, I hope -- reading rdhopeca's two chapters (sorry it's taken so long
) and doing a little editing for a certain sheep.

washing clothes. since our dryer is broken, have to dry them at the laundry mat. (ugh)
