2 birds this weekend, both from Harley. One very dead, the other lively enough to fly away after I pinned down the cats.

I hate it when my kitties kill native wildlife .. parrots, rosellas, ring tail gliders .. they can kill all the mice and snakes they like

I don't care what they kill. I just don't want them bringing it home. :D

Wommas goes to see the kitty opthalmologist on the 12th. That'll put a hole in my bank account.

My vet doesn't charge much for shots. It's dental that I always dread. Teeth are so freakin' expensive, no matter whose mouth they're in.

Yeah, don't get me started... Luckily my cats have never had dental issues other than a bit of gingivitis in one that cleared up easily.

Vet just suggested bringing mine in for teeth stuff...

I really need to force the issue and start training them to let me brush them. They're classic cats tho, totally against manhandling haha

Good luck. All of mine have very strong opinions on the subject.

I really tried with Kara. She can be super placid - doesn't even blink when she gets an injection - but I tried every flavor of toothpaste and every style of brush, and all were rejected.

Well, just back from the vet. Ouch. And travelling there with 3 cats at once isn't much fun either.

And naturally, the ginger is developing some plaque that we need to keep an eye on / do something about. Haha.

"do something about" oh man, I feel your pain! I suppose tuna juice on a toothbrush is a good way to start at least haha work my way up from there.

YAAAASSSSS QUEEN!! THE BEANS!!! heh.

but..Mook "cute"??? you wanna take a look at that expression again there Balon?

that's a thug right there. he regularly punks harry and thunder...they run in fear of him!! hahaha...literally RUN from him. mook has made harry so afraid of him that even if he's just trying to PLAY with harry, harry will GROWL at him to warn him off!! and harry doesn't growl at ANYTHING or ANYBODY. he's mr. placid. hahahaha!!

here's a couple of rare moments of harmony, notice harry sort of eyeing mook at the door...he don't trust the little thug not to turn on him when mom turns her back!! hahaha

Your place looks great Luci! Is that recent?

Poor little kitty Archer had to get his butt clipped! He had some extra wet poop that got stuck all over his bottom fur. :( Got him wrapped in a towel and in the shower but I had some nasty cuts before it was over. :/

....Hopefully this will never happen again....

awwww poor Archer!

Creator and his sister Donna and I moved to Colorado...what...I think it was 3 yrs ago this past January, but it could've been 2 years. chronology is HARD! :P

it's a GREAT house!! we got a really really good deal. this house in California would've been probably 1.8 - 2 mil. we got it for 645k!!!! like I said, we have TWO guest rooms!! 8O Creator has a man cave and I have a girl cave and Nunny (Donna's nickname) lives in the fully finished basement with a kitchenette and full bath and bedroom and living room area! plus Creator has a work office! as well. we were able to buy it once we sold Creator's old house in Virginia. we had been wanting to get back west...ok well LUCI had been wanting to move back west (cause you know I left my heart in SF) and Colorado was our compromise to Creator's job, he could get to west coast or east coast in one direct flight. We are still hoping to move to the pacific northwest for retirement tho...possibly in YOUR area! :D
ps... we are 30 miles south of Denver in Castle Rock.
