I feel for you magic. I had an exhausting 60 hour week. But, it's a warm, muggy Friday, and the beers are going down like water....(Good or bad....that remains to be seen. hehehe)
I must remember not to post in the 'Tank while drinking....

"Hey, dad," croaked the vulture, "what are you eating?"
"Carrion, my wayward son."
"Will there be pieces when you are done?"
Indeed Menolly!
I love the 'Tank...but it's like jumping into a shark's tank while bleeding if you don't have a clear head. Heheh!

This evening has been a roller coaster ride emotionally. It was the last evening of sports camp, which is both good (I need a break) and sad (I will miss the kids). I got to ref during the judo competition we had, which is a first for me (man was I nervous!), and my sensei said I did a good job and made good calls. I had a killer headache during the entire 45-minute drive home though, and several cars tailgated me with their lights reflecting very brightly off of my side mirrors, which didn't help matters. When I got home, my anti-virus program on my laptop stopped working, and I had to get a computer assistance geek to remotely fix it, which was both annoying and kind of cool (it was fun watching the cursor move around without my touching the mouse). Now I'm eating cookies and catching up on what I was going to do before the antivirus program broke.

Have fun!
Oh, a change is coming, feel these doors now closing
Is there no world for tomorrow, if we wait for today?

Did you get rained on? There was quite a downpour at Summerfest today.

I'm a wreck. Exhausted and suffering a vicious sinus infection that started yesterday. I'm all weepy because I had to say until next time to Seareach today. On top of that Covenant Jr is packing his suitcase behind me as I type this. On the flip side of all that I feel great. I had a fantabulous amazing few weeks. I must have done something really really really right in order to be rewarded with the chance to meet and bond with such amazing people. What a rush. I am going to need a vacation to recover from my watcher vacation.
Now if I could just find a way to wear live bees as jewelry all the time.....

*jealous*
60 week..normal for me too...some beer would have been GREAT last night...if I didn't have a tire blow out on my drving the truck home (with one of the kids with me).
By the time I found someone to pick me up and give us a ride home....waited for the wife to get home.....called GM roadside assistance.....met them where the truck was.....got told that couldn't do anything for me-not even tow it town, as there was a misunderstanding, and they thought it was a small van that they were comming for.....called an all night tire repair shop.....waited for them to show up.....waited for them to fix the tire and then drove back home, it was nearly midnight.
I guess it doesn't sound ALL that bad; but it made for a sucky friday night.
I thought you were a ripe grape
a cabernet sauvignon
a bottle in the cellar
the kind you keep for a really long time

Yeah, a little bit. It rained pretty hard for about 30 minutes, but that was a few hours before the show started, so we just stood in a tent. In sprinkled on and off from then until show time, but the skies cleared when the concert started. It was a good time. More about the show in the concert thread in vespers.......

It hasn't really hit me yet that I'm actually leaving. I'll probably get it on the plane.
Last weekend it was Seafest, and I drank both nights and smoked both nights. This weekend, sadly, the same. Carla's friend was in town, and we had fun Friday night, and then last night went to go see another friend of hers gig for what might be the first gig of the new band he is in. They had tasty porter there, and unfortunately, it was high in alcohol content. I sure had fun though.

So get wasted all of the time
And you'll have the time of your life
I had a hernia repair a couple of weeks ago so I've been lounging around at home for a couple of weeks, but I'm back to work tomorrow. Quite looking forward to it, except the overly long train journey to get there. Want to see my mates again and I think next weekend will be quite a messy one. I'll have a cold one on the watch.
It'd take you a long time to blow up or shoot all the sheep in this country, but one diseased banana...could kill 'em all.
I just got off the phone with one of the interns at the local radio station I listen to. Turns out I won a Directed Tabletop HD Radio in their latest loyal listener contest.
I admit, the receiver doesn't look all that tech, but I don't know much about HD Radio. And heck, it's free. So I guess I'll find out.
There's only one person I know in the entire universe that would win something for free and then...Oh Chr-st with an i! Forget it!
I feel broke, cluttered and tired. But I've got my girls back and a big thunderstorm last night has my new sod and roses and flowers looking good. I talked to a great buddy on the phone last night and I'm counting my many blessings. and not whining about them
