Feeling pretty good this morning.
It's a national holiday, so Hyperception didn't have to get up at a g-d awful hour to case his mail route.
We went to "Fanfare and Fireworks" last night (put on by UF. they do it the night before, as apparently fireworks displays are a LOT cheaper on July 3rd versus July 4th), and came home bug bite free. A rarity in Florida at twilight or later in July.
I'm thinking a brat fry for dinner.
Life is good.

Its amazing what coffee does to me at first thing in the a.m. A lump of clay is transformed into a living breathing cognisant entity. With no awareness of being told to do so, I watch my toes twitch, one at a time and in order at that, big one first, then the pinky, then the next etc..as the trimethylxanthine interacts with my synapses. See!,,there is no way I would even have attempted trimethylxanthine in thought or in actual typing of ,,with out the digestion of its transporter, coffee...well,, okay,,I cut and paste it . The brain is mightier than the keyboard,,once it has its coffee. I drink coffee, therefore I am. The hills are alive with the taste of coffee. OOoh say can you taste the Star Bucks latte so enticing steaming under your nose? Okay,,its gonna be one of those days . Good or bad , its that I can feel that is important, and thats good.

I like cheese *and* coffee.
Magickmaker is spending part of her July 4th holiday by doing her scholarship renewal application, which makes me happy because now I will be able to take it off my "things to nag Magickmaker about" list. (I shouldn't complain -- it's a pretty short list. But still.)
Jenn, there was one day on the Metro, about a year ago, when some chick kept leaning up against the pole I was hanging onto. She had plenty of space, but she just kept, y'know, leaning back against the pole, and onto my fingers. So I positioned my thumb just
there.

When she poked herself, she jumped and looked back at me, and I said, "Oh, sorry!" She quit leaning on the pole after that....

I'm almost done with a cold that's been hounding me.
I've started writing and drawing again.
I've had a three month anniversary with Clare de Lune.
Summer is here.
I am 20.
I'm feeling pretty damn good.

Me, too.

I am feeling a bit stressed.
Visited my mother in the hospital, and she is holding her own, thankfully. I imagine I will be running back and forth to the hospital to visit her the next few days.
I do still have to study for that darn test. Good news is that I am doing quite well on a practice test I am currently working my way through.

Good luck with your test MsMary!
Just spent the day in Amsterdam - enjoying the sunshine and a boat trip and dinner along the canals with the Hard Rock cafe. Belatedly realised we were sitting across from Kerry King the slayer guitarist as an added extra.
Now just sleepy. ZZzzzz.....

You mean the glowing butt plug?
And I'll try to forgive you, but I can only truly forgive you once you apologize to me face to face.

...oh...and here was I thinking...
But, yep, right. If that what it takes you're on! I. KNOW. WHERE. YOU. LIVE!

Thanks for the good test vibes.
At this point, I am thinking more about my mother than about my test, though.

WOW!!..perhaps you are being tested on a larger scale than your test. In any case , I hope you find the inner strength to come thru this experience positively as possible. Like Sea's want for a Buckies that she can't name,,there are times in life when what is going on seems inexplicable, frustrating, and sometimes just plain too much. Ms Mary,,, i also send " positive vibes" to you.

Did you know that if you ask for a "skinny latte" at Starbucks, regardless of whether you get a shot of syrup or not, it costs more than a latte with nonfat milk?
MsMary, hugs to you and your mom:
I had a relatively relaxing morning. Dropped off Magickmaker at work (at 7am, urgh), stopped at Panera for breakfast, then shopped at Ikea for a desk chair. Why is it that even with taking the shortcuts, etc., it still took me two hours to find what I wanted, pay for it, and get out of there? Hmm, maybe it was the detour through the sofa collection...and the detour through the dining room chair collection (in case they didn't have any desk chairs I liked)...and the detour through the as-is department.... Anyhow, I netted not only a desk chair, but cushions for the dining room seating *and* two replacement seat covers for my barstools. Finding the barstool covers made me *very* happy. I really like the ones I've got, but as soon as I put them on the chairs, the cats saw their claw-sharpening potential and I've been fighting a losing battle ever since.... Now, however, I am all set for when Batty and Magickmaker take their kitties with them after college -- I can just toss the ripped-up covers and pop the new ones on. Yay!
And now I'm sitting on my new chair at my newly-painted, organized and spacious desk. I might even get some writing done.

sleepy tired! Have you been to Holland before Stonemaybe?
In all the times I have been over here I can honestly say I have never tried anything in the 'coffee shops'!
As of the 1st July there is a new smoking ban in bars and restaurants etc. Its not proving too popular.

I feel better. I went and ran in the sand with my doggy today. I had a nice long heart to heart with my friend Karen. I hugged Lucimay. I breathed in the ocean air and felt the misty spray on my skin and I listened to the sound of the waves and the gulls and it was good. I posted some beach pictures in the Mooseman Prophecies thread.
