I was aswell.

I don't feel any sympathy myself either MM.

But then, my drug of choice means being stoned out of my mind and
not having hangovers.

Hee hee, guess I've been consigned to the doghouse for the rest of the week. You're quite right, Waddley. I knew I probably sounded like an ogre crashing a party. I said what I said because at that moment my feelings on the subject seemed to boil over. For the record, I do enjoy alcoholic beverages, too, but just a small amount turns me beet red, so that's my signal to stop.
(Er, what's candy corn? Sorry, my diet is not very adventurous, so candy corn sounds exotic to me...)

Haha, no it's totally ok. I understand your point completely. And, for the record, I'm generally really good at stopping myself from going over the edge. I'm just not used to how beer affects me. Beer sucks.
As for candy corn... it's a haloween candy made of sugar and... uh, probably more sugar. It looks like this:
It's delicious as only teeth-rotting candy can be

Can I ever relate to this. On Friday I must have slept 16 hours. On Saturday I did feel a bit better, but made the mistake of sitting outside for a few hours, and paid the price with an allergy flareup. So yesterday, I got sent home from work sick again, and must have slept closer to twenty hours. Today I have been up about three hours and drank a power drink to try to get myself going, but already want to go to bed and take a nap.
Unfortunately, I have to go to work instead in about half an hour.
I am supposed to bring in food this afternoon, as it is a holiday at work (one of those little fake federal holidays) but screw it. I am too tired to stop off at the store.

Candy Corns are just just little candies shapped like corn kernals...and usually fade from white to yellow.
I'm not a big candy fan...just food to me is chips (or crisps to our UK friends)
I'm feeling pretty good..had a great Thanksgiving, didn't eat to much, didn't drink hardly anything (alcoholic).
We're just winterizing today..cleaning out the basement to bring in firewood, stuff like that...we're still very low on water (still doing laundry, and showering at family, the three kids all use the same bathwater, which I then pour into buckets for flushing)--but hey life could be4 a whole lot worse eh?

Ah, yes, now I see what candy corn is.
Sorry to hear about your water shortage, drew. A lazy urbanite like me takes a basic necessity like water for granted, so I'd probably panic in your shoes. Not to mention I don't know anything about using firewood. We city dwellers are pathetic, right?

I wasn't drunk when I wrote that. I was dying.

I see. Well, one cannot expect to load one's body with poison and not have it try to kill them.

Wow, this thread has reached 200 pages!
Lord Foul, how do
you feel about being the instigator of this topic that exposes the mundane and the banal in the daily lives of Watchers?
I feel like going for a mundane walk and possibly a coffee. It's a sunny day, but windy and cold. This could be our last day before the snow hits. They're forecasting the white stuff to arrive tomorrow.

Relaxed!! I had my first massage!
The conference I am at (Gartner Symposium) has FREE massages for EXP members (Chief Information Officers, etc.) I had never had one or sat in one of those massage chairs - interesting contraptions that I have seen at some malls. It was was pretty comfortable and the massuese was WONDERFUL. I think I might go back for another!!
And they are doing the massages thru Wednesday.
Oh bliss!!

Had a fun weekend. Went home, went to the Renaissance Festival, and I ran into this girl that I knew from high school!

It was a crazy coincidence! Talk about small world! I mean, what are the odds??? I'm still freaked out!
But now I'm back at school, and I'm in some sort of funk. A bit bummed out or something. I think I just need to relax my brain the rest of the night...heh.-jay
