Heeheeheeheeheehee!!!! THE COOLEST THING EVER!!!

Our current theatre project is King Lear......but the next one.... 8O 8O 8O

The next thing we do after King Lear is gonna be THE WALL!!

We're collaborating with a Pink Floyd cover band called Another Brick in the Wall, to stage the album. Our starting points will be the movie, of course, and the Berlin concert, but we'll be putting our own spin on things, which is what we're known for.....

And these guys, ABITW, are an officially sanctioned cover band! They have all the animations, and technical fireworks and stuff.... 8O

And Michael wants me to play MOTHER!!! 8O 8O 8O :faint:

I'm a little bit excited....

May I ask you to record it and share with me? I'd be very much interested.

DEFINITLY my favorite band! (note signature)
Got see Pink Floyd twice in Tampa Stadium.
(Momentary Lapse Of Reason & Division Bell) :bounce03:
...And Roger Waters (Radio Chaos)
...And David Gilmour (About Face).
But the best thing in my possesion is
"Roger Waters & Friends" playing The Wall @ the Berlin Wall.
It was broadcast LIVE over the radio
and in the cassette recordings that I have,
the concert was stopped and restarted.
That was NOT in the video version that is sold in stores. :|
The cassette recordings also has commentary and interviews.
Over 3 hours of Pink Floyd! 8O

I have some thirty-plus various concert/demo/etc. recordings of ípf or even more (ssshhh...), and I love them all to the last sound, but perhaps the most dear is a recording of the The Man and Journey suite from 1969, broadcast in a Dutch radiostation; it is just a perfect record of psychedelia, too bad the haven't made an official record out of it.

I have no idea if it will be recorded or not....most likely it will....and if it is, I'd be glad to bootleg a copy for you. :D

Did I mention my son will be making his stage debut as Young Pink? 8O :D :D :D

The Band Is Just Fantastic,
That Is Really What I Think.
Oh, By The Way,
Which One's Pink?

The star character in the movie, The Wall. He's sort of a collage of all the band members, with the eyebrow shaving and hotel room trashing being mostly Sid Barrett's influence.....

This is turning into a whole family show!

Now we're toying with the idea of my daughter being baby Pink, and my husband being Daddy.... 8O 8O 8)

Hey Pink Floyd's great. I own Dark Side, The Wall, and Wish You Were Here, but....they're not the greatest, awesomest, best band of all time (contrary to popular KW belief!).
The Who is superior to Pink Floyd. Period.

Saucerful of Secrets is their meisterwerk methinks, or Meddle. But I do love all their stuff. I am far too young for all this (LOL), but must add LED ZEP into the fray-anyway wrong place.

Indubitably, good giantship, indubitably.

The Who? I love them, but don't cross my dear Floyd with 'em!

Well, as we talk about the greatest band ever, uncle amanibhavam brings you something to listen to, for illustration only:-)

Embryo
Careful with that Axe, Eugene
Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun

All 3 are live recordings from the 1969-71 era.
