The problem is, you all are assuming that he finished the thing in 2013.
Me, I think I'll be 70 when he finishes writing this blasted thing.
And I'll be 80 when I finish reading it!

Life is all about perspective.
Have you ever noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster than you is a maniac?

...and time is relative. Or so they say.
I'll be 39 in that year.
Is it really 2013! Not 2014!

Was I wrong?
I hope so.
Please confirm . . . please confirm . . . please confirm . . .
If you're right, I'd only be 63.
So far I'm the oldest buzzard here, I think.
Hurray! Getting older sure does beat the alternative.

I'll be 36.
By then I'll have two teenaged boys, and a seven year old.
Maybe one of the teens will want to read the series by then.

If he sticks to schedule, I'll be 50 or 51.

Yeah, the official release date is 2013 for what it's worth. You gain a whole extra year.
Oh, LM...I think Spring will win...

I know I should feel good about that too, but I'll be 45 when the last book is released.

Wow Drew, you've been bizz-ay!
I'll be 34, living in a dilapidated shack in the Scottish Highlands and surrounded by dogs.

Well, let's see - I was 30 when Lord Foul's Bane was published (1977). Assuming 2014 is an accurate time-line for book 4 of the Last Chronicles, I should be 67. I can still remember waiting patiently for the White Gold Wielder and the last book of the Gap series to be published. Some things never change!

I shall be 57 and the world will have ended the year before...

SRD please please write faster in case I have a heart attack or get run over by a runaway steamroller or something. Plus the sooner the books get out, the less likely are those who remember the first two sets of chronicles to have gotten Alzheimer's!

Wow, someone who is older than me.
