Another great show that you and Mr.S might be interested in is the History Channel's Civil War Journal. It only comes on 1-2 times per week, and always in the early morning hours, ~ 7 or 8 am eastern. I have it programmed into my DVR. Last week's episode was on the Battle of Fredericksburg.

Since I work permanent off shifts, that is a bit earlier than my brain functions. :wink:

I am being haunted by one of the scenes in Gods and Generals. The one where Chamberlain is leading his men to the battlefield and starts quoting Roman literature to them

I loved that scene also - and yet it's another often criticized part of G&G. Strange.
