I've signed up this year just to motivate myself but...well...who knows if I'll get off my butt and apply myself. Knowing my luck I'll have other commitments, apply myself for two days and then get disillusioned.

I think I'm gonna do it, too. I've been kicking around a novella idea for at least six months now. Time to apply the seat of my pants to the seat of my chair and write the damn thing already.

Thanks. Good luck to you too. I have absolutely no idea what I'm going write. I've been working on a fantasy novella for...well...far too long but I don't want to NaNo that. Not inspired enough to butcher that quite yet <grin>. I have an opening paragraph of something I started a couple of weeks ago which has potential but I have no idea where it's going.

I'm doing well. I haven't written a word. The way I'm going I'll be doing my usual "oooh, I have a day to finish this in" thingo. Wonder if I could write 50,000 in 24 hours.

Instead I shall lament: "Next year!"
