I bet if I set out a mouse trap, I'd catch that little thing.

To all the kitty lovers out there, here's a little something I wrote and used to recite to my maine coon cat, Two Sox. He was an awesome cat and I miss him still.

Kitty Kitty oh so pretty
in your little fuzzy suit.
Come here kitty
let me shave you
from your toes up to your snoot.

Kitty Kitty oh so pretty
with your ears so soft and fuzzy.
Let me squish them
close together
so you look just like a bunny.

Kitty Kitty oh so pretty
with your long and fluffy tail.
Let me pull it
just enough
to hear that soft and pitiful wail.

Kitty Kitty oh so pretty
with your green and gold flecked eyes.
Come here Kitty.
Let me hug you
til your eyes look real surprised.

Kitty Kitty oh so trusting
purring softly in my lap.
If you knew
what I was saying
surely you would bite and scratch.

But Kitty Kitty oh so trusting
you don't know
what I have said.
And so you lay here loving purring while I scratch your little head.

Sox was a rescue, I found him out at a friend's place in the Cascade mountains in Oregon. He had a broken leg and tail and open festering wounds and the instant I touched him it was magic. I brought him home and nursed him back to health and helped him through his trauma. He went through a phase of what I can only term, "fear of abandonment" and would actually attack me when I would go to leave so I had to give him kitty valium until he finally realized that my leaving did not mean forever. When I took him to the vet to get him fixed they told me he howled as soon as I left, howled nonstop so they had to drug him extra. While I was being told this, one nurse opened the door to get him and the instant I started speaking he must have heard me and the screaming began again and didn't stop until he was in my arms. I had thirteen beautiful loving years with him and the poem was written early on because he loved for me to talk to him. He is now buried under a catnip tangle on the hillside of my parents backyard. I put him there because that way he's overlooking the bird feeders....hehehehe.

OH DEAR LORD DAMELON!!!! You should totally submit that to cuteoverload.com. Those eyes are killing me! JUST KILLING ME!!!

My father in law and his couch companion Little Bit. When I sit down at the in-laws house Little Bit humps my leg while Angel their tiny Yorkie tries to lick me in the ear.I don't sit on the couch much.
