I believe dAN can handle bass and guitar with no ill effects. Our band needs him to play guitar and he's being very helpful in doing so. I don't expect he'll abandon bass any more that I would give up playing guitar for accordian or kazoo. It's all good. No worries. :-)

Kazoo? For some reason an old video of the Dead just popped up in my mind :-)

Anyone else in your band here at the Watch? You guys should play or write some TC songs...

Heh. Our drummer/bass player is watch member ProRider514.
As to writing TC songs I wrote one back in the 80s. It was called Unbeliever and it featured some wicked cowbell. In fact I think it needs more cowbell.

I take it the song was really a tribute to Triock, the cowherder?

No, he had a fever when recording that song, and the perscription was MORE COWBELL.

Was that the prescription to make him feel better, or worse?

Ah...Mithyaat.

When it comes to Yes, you can effuse all you want IMO, m'lady.

Although I always went for the more elfin looks of Anderson myself.

And that voice...:::sigh:::

Here's the song Siberian Khatru

Tell me Steve Howe can't play guitar!!!!!!!! :rockband: bass line is incredible and the ending: astounding

...but, I agree with the critics-if Chris Squire wasn't in the group there would be no YES

Which is why Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe is not even close to being a Yes album, IMO...

Don't get me wrong, it's a terrific album for those of us who craved the original line-up at the time. But, it wasn't Yes.

I agree; there is no Yes without Squire. Still, they did get Tony Levin to play bass on that album, and Levin's the man.

hmmmm, have to disagree... without Anderson, it just doesn't seem like Yes.
example: Drama...

Levein on ABWH was a great choice that made me briefly forget Squire.

Heh, I can't even tell you one song off of ABWH. BTW, Machine Messiah was cool, too; I just like the other 2 tunes better.
