I still prefer seasons. If a random event, or another deity's act, happens early in a turn, better to have something like two months go by before we can work on correcting it than eleven. Especially important when we're talking about things happening to our children.

How would people feel about Summer/Winter turns, then? Six months instead of a year?
Although that first point is not strictly true because there are ways around it, I once again mention my lack of preference for the subjective turn time. Seasonally does seem slightly more realistic, but on the other hand,
more stuff happens per turn than could in 3 months as well. 6 months seems a reasonable compromise.
