What we know from the closing of FR is this, Lindens dead coud not talk to her, council or give her answers about what to do. TC's first words to Linden were " what have you done?" I take that to mean that linden just botched everything up in a bigger way than we know with the given information. I think that the arch will be changed or that now LA will be able to travel through time, with TC's help.

Now in the "inconsistency" thread we were discussing the old staff and new staff. I think we are in for a bit of time traveling in the next book atleast. Meaning travel to the One Tree and taking of the limb that was mentioned in the 2nd Chrons. I think that is going to have something to do with Berek recieving LA's Staff. If the arch is destroyed or weakend than a "mobious" (the metal ends of the staff) item can be possible. Is it not possible the metal ends of the staff help to contain law? Restrict it in someway? Its plausable.

I also after reading some of the theory's on here that perhaps LA's resurection of TC may have split foul and covenant apart and let foul loose yet again. Hence why he said to her "what have you done?!?!" Hmmm.

Yet another theory which was mentionned in the last pages of FR, Longwraths sword has power, could this be the sword that cut the one tree?

Boy its too bad we have another 17 months before we get the next books. I'd really like to have the pages that were edited out of the first 2 books, see what kind of relevant info was taken out.

Donaldson has described this process of editing in the GI. I don't believe he actually takes out "relevant info." He just streamlines the text so that it has a better narrative flow. He has said that this always makes the book better, and that nothing important is ever cut. The only time actual events were cut was Gilden Fire, which not only was reprinted in another form, but was also incorporated into the text with 2nd-hand reports from the Bloodguard.

I think I read that, he also stated that ROTE and FR were around 1100 pages, the final books were around 600 pages, thats a lot of editing, I mean amost half of what the "rough" draft was. Hmmm...

I think you're confusing his manuscripts with the final editions. The manuscripts are always longer, due to the larger type.
