I think that sums it up well Rigel, I was disappointed because I felt it did not meet that potential, despite having so much going for it.

I have no point to prove Loremaster, I posted my opinion of the movie and the reasons behind that opinion. By all means explore with me that rationale but I'll need more convincing than I've seen so far to persuade me that this movie is anything other than I've observed.

I really love movies with a varied taste in genres, but I do like the product I pay for to be of a good standard. I think its good to question what is being served especially if it does not live up to expectations.

I definitely agree it didn't live up to its potential. The Dreaming pegged it with his corporate focus-group ending speculation. If that's not the explanation, they should be even more ashamed for how they marred this film with its ending.

I agree with the frustrations over the last half of this movie. My wife, who has less qualms about watching movies of less quality than this one, and long after seeing them regaling me with their shlock-value whether I'm interested or not, has simply forgotten that she watched Sunshine.

That says it all for me. I have to add it to our Netflix again, so she can remember why she forgot about it.
