Speaking of swift kicks, last night I deleted all the games from my computer and saved them to a disk, cause I have no self control when it comes to playing games.

Good for you! I had such good intentions on Sunday evening of getting a bunch of stuff done, and then I made the mistake of starting a mahjong game. There went the evening....

That's exactly my problem.

Except that I decide at around 11:30 pm or so that I'll just play one little game before bed. The next thing I know, it's 4AM.

Which basically blows the whole next day out of the water.

I'm pretty much okay if I'm doing a game that pops up in a window, so I can still see the time at the bottom of the screen. But this bloody mahjong game obliterates the clock. And of course I'm not going to think about turning around to look at the clock on the wall while I'm playing matchy-matchy with the tiles.

And....time to go do some work.

Give me a kick if you spot me still browsing the forum.

That's my problem with one of the games I deleted. I can size the game window so it's smaller. But when I get to the higher levels, I get better scores (and die less) with a full window, which blocks the clock. And playing a game takes longer than I feel like it's taking. The hours just slip away.
