Speaking as a sailor coming back into port, when you don't have sex for an extended period of time, what you aim for may fall dramatically short of what you achieve. Sure, you can drink all the pineapple juice you want the morning before pulling in, but... there's always the reread.[/mixed metaphors]

I used to live in central NJ.

The pineland swamps. I live in Medford (South Jersey) which is about 20 miles east of Phila and 60 miles west of the shore. Lots of old cranberry bogs and cedar water nearby and tons of scrubby pine trees and wetlands a few miles east of me. Of course much of that is slowly being replaced by mini mansions and housing developments.
Wow, all this talk about sex and FR just might persuade me to put everything aside to finally delve into those seductive pages. I mean it's been a long time since I've had really good....er, read a good book.

Pine barrens? Seen the
New Jersey Devil lately?

(And I don't mean the hockey team.

)
I used to live in central Jersey, in the New Brunswick area.

New Jersey hardly has ALL the toxic sewage plants. It does get a lot of bad press, but when you get away from the small section of the state containing the oil refineries, NJ is really beautiful.
Some of the most notorious toxic sites have been other places besides NJ. And the truth is, you need to be careful no matter where you live, these days.
Sad but true.

Sorry!
I thought it was a jab at NJ.

Edit: I thought about it again and I get it.

How many people from NJ have you told it to?
And, technically, you know, I'm no longer from NJ.

Enough to never tell it in person.
Although, People from California seem to react much worse to jokes than people from NJ.

Well, California is the breakfast cereal of the states.
Fruits, nuts, and flakes.

You know what they say about California: They tilted the US and all the nuts rolled over there.
