At one point or another, my family had 6 hamsters, 2 gerbils, 12 zebra finches, a guinea pig, a rabbit, a gecko, 2 cockatiels, 2 sharks, 5 snails, and innumerable fish. We couldn't have cats or dogs because of my parents' allergies. All the above pets have passed on except the cockatiels, rabbit, gecko, and some of the fish.

I grew up on a farm that included the following animals (not always at the same time): cows, sheep, goats, pigs, a pony, canadian geese, african geese, chinesse geese, muscovy ducks, mallard ducks, khaki campbell ducks, ringneck pheasants, golden pheasants, amherst pheasants, quail, blue shouldered peacocks, white peacocks, and at least 6 varieties of chickens.
We had a little bit of everything.

How do khaki campbell ducks work, exactly? Do they wear kilts over their chinos?
Just askin'.

You'd think, but really they're not so flashy. They're actually quite brown.

Cute! But, yeah, kinda dull. Mallards are cooler.

Are golden pheasants actually golden? Or are they dull brown too?

I think they're quite pretty.
