Oh I know she's right, but, as Fist has shown us, it's SO much fun 2 argue w/her and throw her in2 a tizzy!

(and another 1 of her probs is she responds 2 quickly 2 let the rest of us get a word in edgewise

)

Let's not forget this, from
The Calling of Lions:
But before they could reach safety, Drool appeared out of the cleft above them. The Cavewight was crawling, too crippled to stand. But in his fist he clutched a green stone which radiated intenst wrong through the blackness of the clouds.

It was supporting FF's response to CJ's not remembering the Stone being in LFB.

I would still like to see the question put to SRD. Just for extreme closure. It would be kind of a let down to discover that all these years I’ve credited him for being so clever with that title only to find out that the “Bane” as it were is an actual and recognizable…bane. sigh

Well I'm not taking his word for it if it's different from mine. With all the paradox and 2-way meanings, I'm sticking with Foul's Bane meaning at least Covenant and the Stone.

Absolutely TC is Lord Foul's Bane.
Originally the book was titled Lord Foul's servant. (Again TC)
