Drunken Watermelon

1 4 lb. seedless watermelon
Vodka

With a sharp knife, carefully cut a hole in the watermelon, large enough to fit a funnel. Place the watermelon on a plate and fill the funnel up with vodka. Let it sit until the watermelon has soaked up all the vodka, and fill the funnel up again. Repeat until the watermelon won't absorb any more vodka. Slice and serve.

Yeah...my sister got caught up in that.

When I was 18, legal drinking age was 18. The year my sister turned 18, it was raised to 19. The year after, as she approached 19, it was raised back to 21...

That's the wimpy way to do it Menolly. You cut a vodka bottle neck sized hole in the watermelon and then ram the bottle in and let it sit overnight then the next day you have not only a lovely polluted watermelon but you have watermelon flavored vodka in the bottle which is a nice thing to add to large batches of sangria.

Yep. That way the watermelon juice and the vodka kind of blend and switch places. The watermelon will take more vodka that way and like I said the watermelon juice mixes in the vodka bottle. It's the best way.
