As for the Witches, although I loved them, my one complaint was with the relationship between Granny Weatherwax and Magrat Garlick in the earlier books.
Pratchet was obviously trying to make us sympathize with Magrat and think Granny is being overly harsh. However, I think most of Granny's arguments are quite logical, and that Magrat just needs to stop being such a wet hen.
Maybe I'm just nasty like Granny is.
