The orc is incapacitated, not dying. Exactly at 0hp. So we can question him later, and not have to make a heal check or waste valuable potions / scrolls.
Yes, I had noticed, but being up on the roof was unable to do anything.
Also, at 0 HP, he is still conscious and can slowly move away, right?

So... in general, do we want to stop the role playing to spend some time dividing up (and identifying) the lootz?
We have some questions outstanding to NPCs, and I don't want to get sidetracked. (Or, if we get sidetracked, let's just get 'er done so we can come back to role playing aftah. As Vyn pointed out, it got kinda confusing trying to hop between topics like that.)

Role playing would involve divvying up and identifying the loot, right?
*confused*

It would. I just don't want to start trying to have several conversations at the same time.

Well...
If we find items I need to cast Identify on over several nights, I can always do that for an hour as we settle down each night...

UUHHHH...
Well, I'm still doing Detect Magic, but the other abilities of a Warlock are at least slightly based on darkness, so they'll probably do more harm than good here...
...Then again, positive energy from healing seemed to help it, so maybe my blast would do good...
...I really don't know what to do...
...Maybe my Detect Magic will give me a hint...

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here or in the game thread, but Vynarkus will take the position farthest back in the group, where the great range on his eldritch spear can be of most use.

Um... Is it still the same day? Or have we rested yet?
...It doesn't matter to Vynarkus so far as his powers go, but I think it would be good to know where we stand on other spellcasters.

I think we're at the next day after the battles, but the same day as far as singing the Unsong of Sleep goes. So, I guess so far, until Marrik heals Led, the only spell caster who spent anything in this day is Laurel, and I assume that was a use of bardic music ability?

After something more than a mile, it's the bard's turn, with her mount, to maximize speed on the initial, most important leg.
Next is Skyseeker
Then Vynarkus
Followed by Darak
Then Jauron
And the Shield
then Beauregard
And finally, Marrik.
...And we start trying to catch up with the caravan again, then?

...glad I'm not the only one who was confused...
OK guys, who wants to explain this in
plain, non-character language?
I've had it explained to me now,
but I think it could stand to be run by me again...

OK, everyone is strung out in the relay, like this...
x-------x-------x-------x------x------x------x------x------x Caravan
when it gets to this
x-------x-------x-------x------x------x------x------x------x ------Caravan
the X closest to the caravan sounds off, and it gets relayed back.
The X at teh far LEFT then walks to the right, thusly..
-----xx--------x------x-------x-------x--------x-------x---------caravan
--------------xxx------x-------x------x--------x-------x-------caravan
----------------------xxxx--------x-------x-------x------x-----caravan
until it is-----------------------------------------xxxxxxxx------caravan
and that is maintained until you get within eyeshot of waymeet, then everyone groups up with teh caravan, not trailing.

And....you get XP for AVOIDING having to fight the Savage and his cohorts..at least, at this point in time...
So, there's XP for that, plus for coming up with the novel idea of a sleep song...or unsong, of you're being picky.
Short version...welcome to level 3. *polite applause* PM or email me with your skill allotments, feat choices, etc. PMs coming wiht HP.

OK...for the n00b.
Laurel obviously was all for going
into the web at first. It took a lot of fast talking and drama on Led's part to get her to rethink things.
And was not the song of sleep also Led's idea?
I'm not complaining, honest.
Just...
shouldn't Led be the only one earning those XP?

...oy...
I keep forgetting what all I have to do...
skill points...
how many skills points do I get...
feat...
I
know there was a feat I had in mind, what the heck was it...
*off to figure all of this out*

Once everyone has done their leveling up, I'll start the next chapter...."Deepening Dusk", which starts with everyone arriving at Waymeet.
I just need emails of the newest character sheets from Beauregard and Vynarkus.

Again turning the mare about, Laurel thinks to herself, Perhaps a cart for my possessions for Hardy to pull would be a better option than the pack saddle. Then, should any of us be injured and unable to travel to needed healing, we could transport them with ease...
...and I must think of a name for this beauty, she continued thinking, stroking the flaxen mane in front of her gently. Let's see; she's part of my team of three now...
Laurel and Hardy and...
I'm only a teenager, but even I have heard of Laurel and Hardy. Nice joke.
...Is there any third star in that show?

I don't think so. The Three Stooges had like five or six people, over the years. But that's a different metaphor.
