God! I hope it's not! ...since I posted it on Facebook!
I'm sure I'll be forgiven...well, not 100% sure....

Sorry, Sea. It's probably just Amazon being slow...

Have you noticed that Amazon is calling it "The Last Days of Thomas Covenant". I'm not entirely sure if it's supposed to say that and whether it's just an Amazon botch-up

1) I really hate Palencar's work.
2) Of the three covers so far, that's easily my favorite. The Harrow looks pretty bad ass.
3) The cover looks a hundred times better with "Shall Pass Utterly".
4) I still hate Palencar.

BTW, AATE is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com -- which I know because I just did.

Oddly, they didn't have the cover art up yet. Is this a sort of sneak preview, then, Romeo?
Was there a release date?

1. I agree! BRAVO, MM! (I'm going to email this to Steve - I'm sure he'll enjoy it.

)
If he likes it - which I'm sure he will - is it too late to convince the publishers????

Blackhawk, if it were up to me, you would do the covers.

I like Palencar's art...just not for SRD books.
Am I the only one who thinks the Harrow (or who ever he is) looks a bit like Faramir from LOTR.

Yes he does look like him.. Faramir being a more fair skinned version but i see the resemblance.

Palencar is a fantastic artist, but he's not right for SRD. I prefer the original ROTE cover (done by Whelan) to the 2nd version.

Well, the Mahdoubt had the funkiest eyes of all. What about that, huh? Huh?
Mahdoubt, guiding light you are
but little respect you get
from Palencar, Chronicles cover czar
And thanks, Blackhawk! Coming from a graphics artist like yourself, I appreciate it.

Undoubtedly only for US customers. Otherwise, it would make a perfect birthday present for myself.

Hey MM: I got my copy of FR from Amazon US and they sent it early so that it reached me here in Oz (if I remember correctly) around about the US release date.

I suspect this is the final graphic, since I was told to post it on the web site.
Steve didn't mention the "corrected graphic" yet, but I'm sure he'll enjoy it - don't worry about catching flack for it.
I would guess the release date on Amazon is just tentative. Steve wants me to post the countdown on the main page once he gets a firm release date, and he hasn't passed one on to me yet. But I'll check with him on that (and on the "Last Days" thing, unless you've already done so, Sea).
Sorry this reply was so late. I've been fighthing with a bunch of strange server problems. Not sure what's wrong with it this time. I can hardly wait to move the site to a more reliable provider (which is upcoming, but not imminent).
