When I was about 5, my older sister asked me this question for the first time in my life. I choose "Working in a coal mine, going down down down, working in a coal mine. Whoops, I liked to slip down." Just because I liked the whoops I liked to slip down. Had to look it up to see it was sung by Lee Dorsey.
However, what I would really consider my first favorite song would be Grand Funk Railroads, "I'm Your Captian/Closer to Home" in 71.

My elder cousin who was a nursery nurse used to sing this to me when I was about 3. It's the first song I remember hearing. I now sing it to my grandchildren. Sorry, no video or sound track available
