Aztec Camera

I just love the cojones it took to turn a high-powered 80's synthesizer anthem into a tongue-in-cheek acoustic singalong song. :)

Aztec Camera's still around!!!??? 8O HOLY!! I meet those guys at Washington College in Maryland in '76--the lead singer had shaved his right eyebrow and left mustache and was running around the cafeteria trying to hit students in the face with cream pies!!!

Maybe you're thinking of Aztec Two-Step?

Bump for recent similar thread. There are lots of good examples here.

I recently learned of a pretty cool cover of Rush's Subdivisions (original) by the band Heaven Below (cover), which also features William Shatner. 8) The video is pretty cool, and it's funny seeing Shat's head pop up for his line.

This guy (Tyler Warrin, whoever the hell that is) is absolutely nailing all four parts (incl. vocals) of Rush's Freewill, even the helium-vocals coming out of the solo.

I'm not sure what to think of this cover of By-tor and the Snow Dog, but it's original, I'll give it that. And sometimes it takes a 12-yr-old boy to sing Ged's parts.
