Easy for you to say. Spend a day in a thread's shoes and you might change your tune. One minute you're being fed and lots of people are coming to visit, looking at you and talking to you, then all of a sudden the lights go out and you never hear from another soul EVER again.

So here we have a supposition that a thread is a vaguely human-shaped entity able to pull on footwear. However, what if we're dealing with something entirely different, like a rectangular object existing only in two dimensions? How do you then spend a day in its shoes?

Next topic: BTW, a thread rolled into a cylinder still can't wear a shoe...though it could glue on a prosthetic foot and then don the shoe [if you gave it some robotic hands to do so. You could do it for it, but that's just bad thread parenting, they need to be self-sufficient.
