Or never as the case may be.

This is a great place, even though I don't post as much as I used to.
Happy 10 years to the Kevinswatch!!

I feel like a total noob. Only been here 4 years. But then I never read any Covenant books until shortly before that, and now I can't remember who got me to finally cave. They came out when i was in college but as soon as my friends were saying "like Tolkien", and the atrocious cover art, I became deeply uninterested. And really, back then, the rape and Covenant's personality would have put me off the books... So glad I finally did pick them up at long last.
People were talking about Science Fairs... we got tired of the same old projects (the electric potato, the vinegar volcano) and instead this year did a Creative Arts Fair (creative writing, songs, poems, dance, art). We LOVED it and so did the kids. One 8-year old brought a keyboard and belted out a song she wrote, and it even had a catchy chorus I could still sing for you weeks later.

What can I say - those 625 posts were very well thought-out & insightful.
Honestly, it's hard to catch up once you kinda get out of the rotation, so to speak. So, I'll continue to lurk & toss my

when I can!
Waiting for 2013....

The trick is not to worry about catching up.

Catching up is a mugs game...it's not really possible. Just dive straight in.

I think a Creative Arts fair sounds like an awesome idea. I wish I had come across something like that as a kid (or even a science fair now that you mention it).

I can't believe it's been a decade (OK longer now)!! Many things have changed over that period and the fact that KW is still around is testament to everybody who has contributed here over that time. All Hail!!
