No, this was a one-off.

It will be easier to spot in the list.
No thanks. It's not that much of a problem.

Turn 1 Notes
- The Game Thread is now active. Player power all starts on an even footing, but number of followers is partially randomised, mostly just because having you all on the exact same number looks wrong.
- The map now shows player settlements. One of the player settlements has a temporary name, because the player hasn't specified one. The legend on the map is temporary, because it looks like crap.
- Deadline for your first actions is a little over one week from now: Monday the 3rd of September. As we're just beginning the game, it shouldn't be difficult to get these establishing moves done, and you've all had time to think about your opening turn. Get in your actions early and I'll process soon after the last player submits.

I knew Erd would find a way to stack the deck! How much did he pay you to have the most followers?!

What Fist
means to say is that I'm winning, and he's not.

If it makes you feel better, Fist, it means his followers are slightly less fervent than yours.

BAM! That's what I'm talking about! Nice bit of GMing there.

Yes, excellent GMing. Make each player feel good about losing to me, and the game continues much smoother.

So what's with the "maiden of strife"?

My assumption is the GM is using Kai's email address for this game...

Yeah, that's the email I created for Acropolis.

Question:
How technologically advanced are the people?

Wishy-washy "fantasy-setting-medieval".
More seriously... Pre-industrial, no gunpowder... Hmm. I'm leaning toward late Roman era, possibly a bit later on - more civilised than northern Europe in Roman times, at least. Early middle ages?
But really, the players make the game, so as long as it isn't wildly out of place...

Ok.
So, this means to me that they have swords at the very least and some more advanced seige weapons, etc. They travel by boat and navigate by the stars.
They have some sort of currency.

Looks like I hurried too much with the character introduction - the one I posted in the registration thread instead of the game thread - is it fine if I just copy it?

Go ahead.

Sounds reasonable.

Just a note, my GMail addon has been acting up lately and is no longer signing in to my secondary accounts to check mail, so sorry if I'm slow responding.

I'm a bad bad player. If I get my turn in before you start processing, can I be not fired from the game?

I don't care how many I beat, so it's ok with me.
