I won't get into the specifics here except to say that yes the garage door was indeed fixed. As to what the garage door repair man did to un stick the door I couldn't say and will likely never know.

Breaking the fourth wall to do that was nearly my least favorite moment of OHMSS. I have to concede there is camp in other Bond films but that was simply going too far. I realize it was the end of the 1960s and popular culture was very often...weird...but I personally prefer James Bond films to be outrageous at times but as it applies to spectacle not spoof. I don't think of the original Casino Royale as a proper Bond film because its nothing but spoof. IMHO

OHMSS is pretty forgettable even though it does give us the movie version of factual Bond lore--he did get married to the daughter of a mob boss and she was subsequently killed by organized bad guys.

The Dalton movies were the first to give us a glimpse at the darker parts of Bond's personality, specifically the dispassionate assassin side. The reason he made only two is because the franchise had grown stale. Ironically, this is take on Bond that made Daniel Craig's movies really enjoyable--the poker face into the fake grin before he shoots you.

I'm with AV - my fave is Roger Moore. I like some of the Connery's but to be honest the earlier Bond films were kinda loopy and not that well written. They got better with Moore in my opinion .. but odd as Albert Broccoli did them all.

Not a big Daniel Craig fan actually .. I liked Judi Dench in the later ones .. was it Dench or Mirren .. I have enjoyed a few of the movies that Craig has been in .. but meh! the worse thing about them is Craig

Though I do like Craig's appearance in The Force Awakens! That was a fun story
