I do not really like this new theme. Very demanding of one's eyes.

I'll work on that as we go but for now I'd like to settle on one set of colours and work from there. Let me know what specifically is demanding - text too bright/dark etc and I'll see what I can do about it

Looks good, I think.

I don't care what color SRD's site is, I hate this. The only way I can tell where things are is by knowing where they used to be and looking for a barely discernable shadow. It would be impossible to find my way around if I were a newby.

Not to mention the eyestrain from looking at it for any length of time.

I'm keeping my avatar in hopes that you will soon put the site back on a white-based field where it will look decent.

I don't find it hard to navigate, but I think i prefer the old colour scheme.

Yeah, personally, I like light backrounds with dark text. Can't we just edit this color theme so that the backround of the text fields are a light backround with dark text?-jay

Sorry if I'm cranky, but my eyes feel like I've been reading for 6 hours straight -- which I haven't.

I am finding the dark background very hard on my eyes. I really prefer the light background that we had before.

Drat ! you guys have cottoned on. I'm going to restore the original colours - I think I need to practice a bit more on the end product before releasing it but it's been a worthwhile exercise - I'll apologise for the inconvenience

It looks good now. I like the smooth brown to orange look.
