I thought books 3 and 5 were the best. 5 because of the incredible climax and all the threads being woven tightly together. I mean, the book is basically one long climax. Amazing. But I think my favorite overall is 3. I love when Angus . . . does what he does . . . at that place . . . ah, I can't spoil it for any of you. Just read it!

The final book of the Gap series was the first time I ever acquainted "edge of my seat" to a book. It's amazing to see how all the threads come together, and the amazing amount of tension built, taking place first of all in one of the first few chapters. Such an amazing series.

I'm still on book four. But then again that's a hell of a lot faster than Jay's been reading for the last... err, year.
I have to say, I prefer this to Covenant. Pure genius.
