well...id say the main difficulty with the movie is....the hair...how to make it look similar, since the hair IS pretty much the trademarks of key characters, such as goku and vegeta...without making it look rediculous...

I liked Hugo more in the Matrix... and I doubt that the part of Elrond could have been played better. :P

I think Weaving did the best he could with Elrond. Pretty archetypical stuff.

In answer to Darth's question, the only "large" upcoming film featuring Weaving I know of is Little Fish, which isn't due to come out til 2005. Apparently it also stars Cate Blanchett, so it'll be like a reunion with his LOTR compatriot.

hmmm... I thought Cate Blanchett was very good in Lord of the Rings... and did an excellent portrayal of Gala(Don't know how to spell the rest) heh :P

She is also great in "Elizabeth"!!!
