Well, many of these are trade-marked brand-name foods invented by marketers, so I'm not sure they count. Marketers, as we all know, are a species unto themselves, and you can't hold the rest of us Americans responsible for them. You got me on scrapple and peanut butter, though. Though you did forget shoo-fly pie, and apple pandowdy.

Spam is indeed weird, but it also won the Second World War:

But I don't want to be over-critical, so let me just say that while putting curry on chips (aka french fries) is a very weird thing to do, it is also delicious, and I thank you for the idea. It's almost enough to make me forgive you for Foreigner.

Custard is great. Curry on chips is a crime. That's all.

Although I do hate powder custards - I get the tinned stuff.

My favorite DangerMouse episode ever was the one when the world got covered with custard, and the custard mite at it all and saved civilization. At least I think that's what happened.
