I think the power required to possess an Elohim would be off the scale of the possible.

Yeah, I agree.
No way.

The corruption or the darkness within the Elohim had to be, in my mind, Lord Foul.
Corruption = Lord Foul.

That's why when the final Chronicles came out I thought it was going to be "WildMagic vs evil Earthpower"
