I find it very hard to find sympathy for Troy in TIEW, to me he is an even less likable character then Covenant. I do like him in Tree-Form, however

An excellent point, one that may account for other mistakes in Troy's planning... like not seeking out Haruchai allies (the Lord's wouldn't want to offend the Bloodguard) or the Giants (sure, all parties sent had been lost, but I'm sure the Lords would also want the Giants to focus on going home instead of on Foul...)Darkdenubis wrote:Troy was an idiot, sure...but the whole Council of the Lords was almost criminally stupid for allowing Troy to try his whacky plans.
