SRD says that Foul didn't have any reason to pay attention to the Land until the Lords got powerful enough to be of use to him. And Stave says of Berek 'before he became the first of the old lords'. So I can see servants of evil, but as far as we know the Despiser hadn't shown up yet.

SRD said that the reason the Lords didn't realise who Foul is was because he'd never been in the Land before the time he joined Kevin'scouncil. Prior to that, all the fighting was against the ravers.

I didnt get that impression from the books (quite the contrary), but ok. But there is nothing inherently contradictory about the Lords not being aware of who Foul was, whether he had been in the Land before or not. He surely had the power to disguise himself, and to decieve those of lesser mind.

Not sure if this counts, but I didn't understand it

As I read it, the ur-viles used a Fall to escape their time & come to the (Runes) present. I know the answer will probably be something to do with the corruption of time in general, but Falls only started within the last hundred years or so. How did they find a Fall thousands of years ago?

SRD's deadline for getting Runes paperback change requests to his publishers is quickly approaching, so Romes doesn't think we need any more discussion on the subject.

I'm sure our input has been helpful to SRD.

Thank you all for responding to the call!!
