Only lethal force could prevent that, I'm afraid.

Thanks for taking the time to post.

LOL

I agree - we're a dedicated (and often times rabid) group of fans.

Be welcome among us John .. welcome and true!!

I have read interviews were you have mentioned a future project of epic proportions that you believe would supercede the Lord of the Rings! Its cool to know you have TCTC in mind.

Band of Brothers was absolutely brilliant!! But then I am a big fan of military/history genres, loved Saving Private Ryan and I especially loved Thin Red Line!!

Big fan of The Patriot too!!

I think we all appreciate that film is a different medium to literature .. and TCTC more than other fantasy adaptions as so much of the story occurs within the mind of the main character. TC is very introspective and much of the dialogue takes place in his head.

I am so grateful that you would share news of your project with us ..
John wrote:I think Peter Jackson was very right to include other fans in the process. TCTC is not mine, it is OURS.
It is ours. As a LOTR's fan it meant so much more to me that Jackson was a fan of the books, and that he made the extreme effort that he did to retain the spirit of the authors work and maintained the integrity of the adapted work.

Good look with this venture .. any assistance we can provide is yours!

you are most welcome among us!

Wow.

I didn't realize the writer of BoB was involved. That's great, as BoB is one of the few mainstream TV thingies I really enjoyed. In fact, it blew me away.

Now here's to hoping that you get to make the movies and they turn out as well as they can.

I just realised they should make the chronicles in Tasmania. The landscape is virtually unknown to most audiences and it is fantastic! The only problem is that you wont have any huge mountain ranges.

I could easily play a Ramen... When is the casting call?
Maybe we could hold a last man or woman standing (I will NOT say 'Idol') contest and We can pick the cast!
OK I am dreaming - time to go to bed.
