I have to admit I really don't understand this Hugh Laurie thing. Is it possible to be less Covenanty?

It's true! I understand the impossibility of seeing Hugh Laurie in the role if all you've got to go on is Black Adder, but he'd be really good (if only he weren't so old).

No, only those of us who have been sadly deprived of Blackadder. I remember catching all of two minutes of that on PBS years ago, and if Hugh Laurie was even in that scene, I don't remember him. I'm sure if I saw it now, I'd never look at House the same way again, rather like I can't take Gary Oldman seriously after Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and The Fifth Element. For those of us who have no exposure to him outside of House, Laurie really does seem ideal.

I don't know if anyone else has thought of this but all the extras? who could they be? (stonedownors, woodhelvennin, etc.) I was thinking racially-
Stonedownors= mexicans
Woodhelvennin= nordic people
Bloodguard= asian
Brathair= Mid-eastern
etc.

i think the woodhelvinnian are too ... weak? to be nordic- i always just pictured them as terribly skinny, and worthless in a melee fight
