So, considering the most recent annoyance, anyway we could chip in for an upgrade to vbulletin or something more secure? I know phpbb is supposed to be releasing a new version soon, but...

It looks like vbulletin is $160 (with free updates for a year, afterward $30 a year for the updates). I don't think it would be hard at all to get 20 people to donate 8 bucks. In fact, I'm sure if people just donated whatever they felt like it, the Watch would have the money in less than a week (and that's a conservative estimate).

And yeah, I imagine paypal would be the easiest route.

Heh, ok you guys, just cool it with the donation talk already. It's all very nice, but I would prefer that any financial obligations fall on me rather than on you all.

Right now, money isn't limiting the Watch at all. Personally, I think we should just let Vain figure out what's the best way to upgrade the forum to prevent any furthur hacker attacks. And I don't want you all to worry about the costs. If the costs are a problem, hopefully he'll talk to me about it, and than we'll decide what to do.

If we really need your help financially, we'll let you know. But until then, just chill. Heh.-jay
