We're out of town that week - getting back Saturday night. We'll be unpacking, doing laundry, etc. most of the day Sunday, but everyone can drop by for an hour or so maybe around mid-afternoon. There's a nice painting on the tour, and a stack of papers (that's *finally* done growing in height) wich may be of some interest. :-)

Spamalot on Broadway was great - you should really go see it here if you can get tickets. We tried to get seats close to the front when we went so we could get a good look at the big name actors. I don't know if any of the main actors are touring with the show - I think Hank Azaria and Jonathan Hyde-Pearce are still in NYC (we were up there recently, and Patty mentioned to me that two of the original cast was still with the show there - I think it was those two). Oh - looking at the web page for the tour, it lists this cast:

The Cast for the National Tour includes Michael Siberry as King Arthur, Bradley Dean as Sir Galahad, Richard Holmes as Sir Lancelot and Pia C. Glenn as the Lady of the Lake, the role that won Sara Ramirez a Tony Award. The Historian and Not-Dead-Fred will be played by Tom Deckman, Patsy by Jeff Dumas, Sir Bedevere by Christopher Gurr and Sir Robin by David Turner.

I don't know any of those names. So I'd suspect Mezzanine would be perfect. It's a *great* show - I wish we were back in town in time to see it again with the group!!
And then the ravens pecked out his eyes.

Forget the papers, it's the painting we're after! ;)

Okay, so here's a preliminary list of who wants tickets for Spamalot on June 24:

Lucimay
dlbpharmd
Creator
Alynna
aliantha - bringing the kids?

DC area folks who haven't said anything yet (this means you Jay! Also Cail, Lorelei, Recluce, Syl & Hellfire, if you will be available to come up.... who else is around here?), please let me know soon if you want a ticket. If this shows sells well, there's no guarantee we'll be able to get tickets later on. Also, there are apparently no refunds or exchanges.

My mom and two friends from her job will be going the same night, too. Groups sales info just went up, but I doubt we can get 20 folks together.

Heh... Ah, this thing. June 24th is a Saturday? Hm... I guess I'll be free that day. I hope to God that my thesis is done before then. But even if it isn't, I can always spare one day. It's not like I have a busy, outgoing life and all...heh.

So yeah, I guess you can put me down for a ticket.-jay

Yes ma'am. My kids would never forgive me if I didn't take 'em to Spamalot! :whip:

I think I have one more person interested in going, but let me check with her to be sure -- I'll e-mail you. (I'm doing my part to get us closer to the group rate!)

I'm flying into Dulles - I found round trip, non-stop through the United.com website for < $300. SWEET! For some reason that I cannot understand but am quite sure it has to do with the Democrats, it costs twice as much to fly into Reagan Airport. I wonder if it would be possible for someone to pick me up at Dulles?

So I'm officially in, have airline ticket and reservation at Hampton Inn on Jefferson Davis Hwy in Crystal City.
