Is that the one with the thing in the ceiling that makes you die if you touch it?
I usually stop by the Pitcher and Piano when I'm in Nottingham. It's pricey and a bit pretentious but it's hard not to be impressed by sacrilege on such a grand scale.

Well, anywhere is a possibility once we're all present. And if we feel in need of activities, there are such Nottingham-themed goodies as the Tales, the Galleries, and if we're really desperate the "castle".
When do people want to arrive? Let's start with midday and work from there. Anyone want later/earlier? No time is a problem for me.

Any time will be fine for me as well. (as long as it's not too early in the morning, I've worked very hard to develop don't-ever-get-up-until-it's-past-midday sleeping habits.)

I've PMed everyone on the Yes and Maybe lists with the following message, reiterated here for completeness:
I need to know when people are going to show. Any time is fine by me, as long as it's after 8am

The current plan is to meet at the Pit and Pendulum; other details, such as they are, can be found in the appropriate thread in the General SRD forum.
I am available to meet and guide if anyone needs it.
Let me know.

My train is arriving at about 10:40, but I'll happily potter around until everyone else arrives. I just need a time to make my way to the pit for.

As I said, any time is fine. I'm happy to meet you straight off the train if you like, unless you want to potter alone first.

'Fraid I'm still very much a maybe... I'm earning some money this week, but if I'm not paid on Friday it'll still be impossible.
If I'm able, I'll aim to arrive around 1 o'clock-ish.
Edit:
Looks like it's on!
And I may be bringing a friend; she's the one that introduced me to the Chronicles in the first place.

Glad to hear it, Somberlain

Claire, I'll try and remember to at least take my camera this time
I'll be PMing my mobile number to all Yes people in case you need to get me for some reason, and also to all Maybe people in case you become a Yes at the last minute.

Gah.
I have no money in my bank account, and my card isn't accepted on the site anyway, but if I pay at the station it'll cost me almost £60 for a return.
Another time, I guess

Have fun anyway, I'll try hard for the next.

So it's down to me, Nav and Nathan. I don't know about Outlander, since he hasn't responded to my PMs or posted in the thread for a while.
Three people in attendance, of whom two live in Nottingham anyway

ElohimChristmasesh went brilliantly! I'm glad to have finally met people from the watch.
Nav and CovenantJr, it was a pleasure to meet you, hopefully we can do the same next time.

Where did all those hours go? The best part of six hours vanished in the blink of an eye...
It was good - we should definitely repeat it. I'm not organising again though!

Haven't really been able to get online much since the sesh, what with Christmas, Turkish revolutionaries and all. Anyway, I think a good time was had by all. Nathan and myself eventually left the pub somewhat inebriated after a good seven hours of drinking. I'm looking forward to the next meeting, where I feel we should try and break the current UK record of three registered Watchers in the same place, at the same time.
Unfortunately we didn't take loads of photos, but I managed to get one of each of use with my camera phone (it was quite dark in the pub, so the quality isn't great I'm afraid).
CovJr chills out:
Nathan strikes a pose:
And I do my best breakfast television presenter impersonation:

ah, those photos have reminded me of how much fun it was! I'll definitely do my best to be at the next one, too!
The slightly-drunken-walk-home was good, for for some reason I decided it would be a good idea to buy some imitation KFC from one of those ubiquitous foreign fast food restaurants, even though I wasn't hungry at all, after barely being able to finish my food in the pub. I managed to eat it all, but it didn't end well.
