I figured that out when I looked over the questions and answers. It has only had the chance to do it once, because before that I was only getting in to check my mail and out again fast.

I took it as an admonishment from my work system, not to play on company time. :cry: Firewall is as good a word for it as any. :roll:

Yes, still have to log on with screen name and password despite the "remember me" check box

Windows 2000 Professional

Current IE

4. Surfing via a proxy server?
Direct connection (DSL)

5. Are you surfing via a work based firewall?
No

6. Do you have a software firewall?
No

7. Do you have Quicktime loaded and active in your toolbar?
Yes

8. Any anti-virus packages running?
Yes, current Norton Anti-virus

9. Any chat programs running?
Occasionally AOL/IM

10. Other background programs running?
Usually not

Wow, this is quite old. I don't know if I ever replied, but here are the current answers.

Have the problem on my mum's computer, but not at home.

2. Your operating system (Windows 95, 98, XP, Mac, DOS )
Windows XP at my mum's, 98 at home

3. Your browser type and version
IE, that's all I know

4. Surfing via a proxy server?
Direct connection (DSL)

5. Are you surfing via a work based firewall?
No

6. Do you have a software firewall?
At mum's, no; at home, yes.

7. Do you have Quicktime loaded and active in your toolbar?
No

8. Any anti-virus packages running?
Some random thing a freind gave me called Norman Anti-Virus. Same on both computers I've mentioned.

9. Any chat programs running?
Frequently MSN messenger

10. Other background programs running?
Sometimes Winamp, otherwise no.

8. Any anti-virus packages running? -Yep (AVGuard)

9. Any chat programs running? - Yeppers (MSN Messenger).

10. Other background programs running? - AdAware.

Surely it's not the cookies - I stay logged in at the Caves, Another Place and Funny Times. Just not here.

It works fine for me here...


but anyone who doesn't have cookies enabled... that's you're problem.

I can't log in. I can view the forums and post as a Guest, but if I try to log in, I get a server error page. Is it just me? If so, any suggestions?

HTTP 400 Bad Request - The data is invalid.

I don't think it'd show that particular error if you were deleted, it would just say "invalid username/password". Sorry, but I can't help on this one - and I'm not going to log out to see if it happens to me as well :P
