I'm used to carraway seeds, salt & vinegar "German style", when it is served as a side dish with meat. But the apple/cinamon combination sounds good.

if it still isn't sweet enough Prebe, try a bit of brown sugar. don't overwhelm it though. you want a combo of flavors.

Sarge! You always forget the most important ingredient ( ) grate 1/2 an ounce of blond Lebanese over the top and serve.

It ain't real saurkraut unless you grew the cabbage, shredded it, put it in a crock, and left it in your basement all winter. Canned Kraut! Next thing you know, you'll be advocating buying pierogies in the frozen food aisle.

i prefer fried cabbage on the grill. salt, pepper, garlic, season salt, some carrots/broccoli/cauliflower and a bit of soy sauce. some delicious!

danlo: cheese makes everything better. my favorite is apple pie right out of the oven with slices of the hardest cheddar you can find.

The fact that you like cheese on pizza, does not mean you like cheese, since pizza topping is not really considered cheese ;)

it's pretty much a 'veggie thing'. i'm also not a big fan of dairy from a health point of view either.
