Poor Beer Guzzlers! Right after the draft and Portis is gone for the year and can't be cut! Come on Walker---keep that knee together!

I know that Portis will be sidelined for a while, but I haven't yet seen where it is season ending, though.

Well he better pick up his backups on the waiver wire...The teams seem to be pretty competitive overall.

Oh I'm pissed! I had to go to my (late) birthday party across town after the draft and I probably won't get anyone I want on the waiver wire!

The waiver order is in effect (reverse of the draft order); I bet that it overrides the order of when you made your waiver moves, as long as you've done them by this evening. So, if you drafted last, your first waiver pick will indeed be yours.

I had no idea how that worked! Thanks dAN! I feel better.

Waiver wire doesn't open until tomorrow so you've got a chance unless I happen to take the player you wanted...

I'm not worried about you--there's one team in particular after us that I am...

BTW, I'm Better Than Last Yr. Which might be true, I'm pretty happy w/my team. Except for Lee Evans. I don't even know who's throwing him the damn ball.

Lee Evans....is he a Bills WR? Kelly Holcombe is their QB now, I think.

Yeah that bites he's a talented receiver. Sorry Todd Pinkston but I'm psyched for Hank Baskett getting a chance to start. I like to know what Brinn knows (or what he's been drinking

) switching Cincinatti's D for Arizona.

Pinkston may be released with an injury settlement soon or placed on the IR. Either way I can tell you most Eagles fans hate him.
As for AZ they had a very good year statistically but didn't make alot of big plays and Brinn is betting they will this season. That and Cincy is spiralling downward from the numerous arrests and Thurman will miss 4 games.

The Vikings are cursed with that aren't they--Onterio Smith--lake parties--though I realize Robinson brought his history along with him.
A crappy summer for Ohio's teams--Cincy: no D, Cleve: no o-line two centers lost and the third one gone for 4 games--who the heck is their QB? Charlie Fyre? Well I
was interested in B. Edwards...
Yeah AZ's D is improving and their stadium is unbelievable (they'll probably play a heck of alot better on their OWN field, than on a choppy field they shared, AND now AC!

)--that one superspeedy safety (Adrian Wilson?) needs to make cleaner tackles. We'll see how they do on the road...
