Nah. Seems a little self-absorbed to do that.

It took me quite a while to start liking any of the characters. At least, when the villainess finally came on stage, I had something to shout for. "Get rid of her!"

My cousin wrote to me:
My niece (12 yrs old) & I took turns reading your book. We both enjoyed it. She started a book club for her friends & will tell them about it. ... Haley will ask for it at Borders.

Well Dan, I for one really love "The Story"! But I've told you that before. I think it's very clever! :)

Interesting news. I loaned a copy of the book to a member of the Australian Sceptics Society.

Wow, you know a real live member of A.S.S.? I find that a bit difficult to believe; it's not nearly as likely as the word 'gullible' being stricken from the dictionary....

Did you know that Frankie Valley read Gullible's Travels and that he liked the quote "bug girls dont cry"?

I can't believe I never posted this earlier. When I was dating that cello player I leant her the anthology. She read my story and actually was concerned I was violent because the main character was. That's about as stupid as believing aTOMic is a mass murderer because thousands of individuals die in his story. Or that SRD is a rapist . . . . Some people . . .

She didn't stop to consider that violent people have been your patients? That is pretty dense.

Ridiculous. She clearly doesn't have a handle on the concept of fiction.

If I were her the violence wouldn't bother me. I would however be concerned by the fact that you communicate with beings who are able to screw with us by manipulating time and space. ;)

Good one! :D :D :D :D

I cannot remember if I told everyone that I sent copies to my three sisters and they went nuts over it and had high praise for every single author, poem, and story? 8)

Every single author in the A1 is now glowing. :)
