Romeo and/or dlb, Batty's flight arrives in Albuquerque at 10:55am on Friday. If her grandmother can't come and get her, could she bum a ride into town with one of you guys?

Flight has been booked.

I'll be arriving in Denver on Thursday, at noon.
I will be departing Denver Monday, at 6.

I'm still waiting from Wylde to arrange hotel stuff, but if I don't hear from her soon, I'll just book the mariott that everyone is else is staying at.

I won't be able to go after all. I have a family reunion that weekend. Sorry, I love you all but I want to see my family.

LOL! She said she feels awful because I have to miss another one, and I told her that there is no where I would rather be than with her on her special day. I just can't believe how quickly the time has gone. To me, it was only an day ago that I held her after she took her first breaths.

Anything look bad about the Quality Suites (5251 San Antonio Blvd. NE, "near the Gruet Winery")?

Seems not too far away, and has what we need (separate living room for when the kids are asleep, microwave, frige, and internet).

Also: anything fun for kids to do (girls, 5, 8 ) in Albequerque?

That's a ways away-excellent champagne tho...there's either Hinkle Family fun center, or you could go to the zoo and catch the train to the aquarium and biopark. Explora is a very cool kids museum.

oh yeah!!! i liked the Atomic Museum. over there near Old Town? and theres acouple of other ones over there, Natural HIstory maybe?

Old Town is good for shopping. i like it better than fooofey Santa Fe's Old Town.

and there's always Sky City!! the Acoma pueblo. i LOVE going there.

there's tons to do.

Thanks, danlo. You say "ways away", but it can't be more than five miles away from anything, can it? I know it's not the area everyone else is staying, but ... clarify?

It's five miles away from everything--but you're right on the freeway, so you'll get anywhere fairly quick.
