Glad to see you got back o.k. CovJr, luggage and all.

Jenn, my darling, I can't email from work, so I'll drag my compy to a wifi hotspot tonight and get my pics uploaded and/or sent.
Glad everyone made it home safely. And I know that I only saw some of you for a few days, but I still got a little teary reading the last few pages.
Much love to all the Seafesters.

It is a stormy day here in my part of the world--thunder and lightening, torrents of rain, so gloomy and gray. Kinda fits my disposition: there's an electricity in me--a buzz for life I found on the road with my dear Lucimay--but I can't help these flooding tears nor these angst filled exclamations (a loud soul-filled sob) that come to me when my heart reminds me you're all so far away...I desperately want to see you all again.

By the way: just to let everyone know my US cell doesn't work here in Oz so if anyone wants my Australian cell number feel free to pm me and I'll send the details.

I think we all found a bit of something magical that feels like it was taken away too soon. There are special parts in my heart for each fester that will always be with me. And we will all meet again at some point. I very deeply believe that with every bit of my heart. And it will be amazing.

I agree with this 100%. No one outside of KW can understand what we mean to each other, but it's real and it's consuming. I have good solid friends here that I cherish. And, we will all meet again, of that I'm certain.Cameraman Jenn wrote:I think we all found a bit of something magical that feels like it was taken away too soon. Oh, I dunno. The oddest things happen at a KW fest....
Over the last few days, I've been marveling at how I now have really good friends, not just all over the country, but all over the world. That's so cool....

HEY HEY HEY!!...I am NOT FESTER...I have a Uncle Fester,,but I am lurch!!
Now,,believe this or not..true story:
I was a devoted fan of the TV show " Ed". It was filmed in a NJ town that was actually the home town of Charles Addams,,the creator of the cartoon " Addams Family" which spawned the tV show and movies. I was a fan of his stuff since a kid because my dad had the New Yorker Cartoon books from like the 20's thru the 50's. So....the website of devoted ED fans still meets together at least once a year somewhere, usually at the few remaining Ed flim sites,, like ata restaurant or bar..Every year I say I should go,,and every year I see every ones pictures and read their posts,,Believe me, I now understand their emotions...Whats cool is ,,the town is less than an hour away from my hometown.,,or should i say..its my hometown too..?
Now to sober it up just a bit..a bunch of cigar smokers broke away from the commercial websites and started our own..of course soon we were having get togethers,,one year in Chicago,, next in New Orleans, Vegas and when any body came thru a city any of us are in..heck a party was had, But..after awhile, with all the anti smoking ordinances being enacted..well shoot. The best watering holes are no longer available to us..And some of us cuban snobs,,really didn't want any more of the Dominican shows of appreciation...so that has all kinda dwindled out like a cigar left unattended.
Whats my point?..I don't know. You figure it out. What did I say to Luci? yea..you never stick your toe in the same river twice. que Paul Robeson.

If she withdrew from exaltation, she would be forced to think- And every thought led to fear and contradictions; to dilemmas for which she was unprepared.
